Magnus Bruun

Classic

Magnus Bruun is a Danish actor known for a variety of roles across film and television, most recognised for his portrayal of Cnut in The Last Kingdom and Eivor in Assassins Creed: Valhalla (where he provides the male voice, and mocap for all iterations of the character).
Though accumulating an impressive portfolio of roles since 2007, it is safe to say that Bruun’s calling revealed itself in when he took on the role of Cnut in the historical fiction television series, The Last Kingdom.
With his striking Viking-like appearance and Danish as his mother tongue, Bruun has embodied the character both physically and mentally.

Bruun’s filmography also includes productions such as When The Dust Settles, Sprinter Galore, Land of Mine and Gaelden.

In 2020, Bruun became a fan favourite amongst Assassins Creed fans when it was revealed he voiced the male lead, Eivor, as well as providing mocap for all iterations of the role in the upcoming Assassins Creed: Valhalla. The game, due out in late 2020, will see him step back into a Viking role after his departure from The Last Kingdom.
